Prof. Dr. Serbülent Gökhan Beyaz completed his medical school at Trakya University in Edirne and worked as a research assistant in the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2003. In 2007, he went to Diyarbakır to do his compulsory service and started to work at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in 2011 to continue his scientific work. He received training in Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Algology for pain treatment. Prof. Dr. Serbülent Gökhan Beyaz went to Texas Tech University in the United States of America to improve his knowledge and experience in chronic pain and its treatments. In 2013, after establishing the Pain Clinic at Sakarya University Training and Research Hospital, he continued both patient treatments and academic studies. He went to Germany for lumbar and cervical hernia pain treatments, Spain for cancer pain treatments and Croatia for minimally invasive pain treatments. In 2017, he won the World Pain Board Certificate and received the title of Fellowship International Pain Practice.
